Each individual model is uniquely handcrafted by Gil from a single turning of one full troy oz of .999 silver wire to represent the uniqueness and preciousness of the human form. As the model is handmade, quantities are limited!
What are Models?
All models are a simplification of a more complex reality. The qualities embodied by a model should point to those characteristics of the reality that the model-maker hopes to highlight. Here I have modeled the "pars intima," the "intimate aspect" of the human form. I intend to convey the precious, reflective, energetically conductive, whole and unique qualities of this most intimate aspect of the human form, while also conveying a wide range of anatomical features meaningfully and accurately. The Box
The home for each model and integral to the whole presentation is a solid cherry wood box designed by Gil and manufactured by a small custom craft wood shop in Minnesota.
The box design evokes mystery, reverence, curiosity, interactivity, and a subtle analogy to the human form, all elements contributing to the meanings conveyed by the model.
Each box is signed by Gil and comes with instructions for care for your model.
