Access OptionsThis 16 hour minute course is a compilation of the first season of “Live With Gil,” a series of nine episodes of roughly ninety minutes each. In these live video calls, Gil addresses and discusses topics of interest ranging over issues of anatomical import to life in general, sometimes with the company of special guests who are luminaries and experts in their respective bodywork or movement field. Each session ends with an interactive Q&A, in which the community shares questions, insights, and reflections.Â

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe the differences in textural and movement potential between superficial fascia, perifascia, and deep fascia,
- Describe the movement properties that are exhibited in a healthy sacroiliac joint,Â
- Given a model of the brain, locate and identify its key structures, including the cerebrum, cerebellum, corpus callosum, pineal gland, pituitary gland, and three encompassing layers of membranes,
- Accurately describe the key features and relationships between the structures of the female pars intima, including the glans of the clitoris, legs of the clitoris, vestibular bodies, urethral sponge, and forchette,*
- Describe three anatomical structures have in intimate connection with the psoas, and how this understanding may impact your bodywork or movement practice,
- In your own words, define “intersex” and describe how your understanding of intersex people has evolved through watching Live With Gil S1 E6,
- Describe the relationships, continuities, and connections that exist between the respiratory diaphragm and the abdominal muscles,Â
- Describe the role that levity plays in supporting the health of your viscera and how your relationship with your viscera has evolved through watching Live With Gil S1E8,Â
- Describe in your own words three ways in which your body is a gift and worthy of appreciation.
