How to use Gil's videos ethically in teaching
We are excited to have you share Gil's work to support your work as an educator. To protect the integrity of the donor program and to honor Gil's work, we have established several guidelines to frame the ethical inclusion of his work in your teaching.
If you are willing to honor the four guidelines below, you are welcome to use Gil's videos in your classroom with your students. Simply log into your own account and livestream his work.
Guideline 1: No photos, videos, screenshots or Zoom recordings of the site are permitted - by faculty or students
Most importantly: please do not make any recordings of Gil's work or permit your students to screenshot or record any of his content.
"Leave the course in the course."
No Zoom recordings are permitted. If you would like your students to have access to the site, we are happy to look into providing a student discount, just ask!
Guidline 2:
"Used with permission"
Please let students know that you are sharing Gil's work with his permission.
Guideline 3:
Play the full screen
Please play any content directly from the site to display Gil's watermark as well as the content in the way he intended.
Guideline 4:
Refer students to the site
Please share Gil's site and let students know that they can access many of his resources (such as an Easy Rider membership) for free.
