This 20.5 hour course is a compilation of the third season of “Live With Gil,” a series of twelve episodes of roughly ninety minutes each. In these live video calls, Gil addresses and discusses topics of interest ranging over issues of anatomical import to life in general, sometimes with the company of special guests who are luminaries and experts in their respective bodywork or movement field. Each session ends with an interactive Q&A, in which the community shares questions, insights, and reflections.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Define hypermobility and describe the various ways in which hypermobility may present in the body,
- Describe three reasons why addressing the 12th rib in bodywork can positively impact the therapeutic experience,
- Describe the “zones of respiration” and how different kinds of breathing may impact the body physiologically,
- Describe how working with the feet (position, arches, walking rhythm) may shift the experience of the whole body,
- Describe how the diaphragm relates to the surrounding structures (psoas, heart) and how its movement impacts the rest of the body,
- Describe how NKT works with the nervous system to improve muscle firing, coordination, and function,
- Describe the possible symptoms, causes and management strategies for headaches and migraines,
- Describe how visceral massage may play a positive role in health,
- Identify the four R’s of the Melt Method,
- Define “stretching” from a biomechanical perspective,
- Describe the different perspectives of the left and right brain.
